My Adventures in South America

Hello! My name is Meghan and I am 14 years old.

I come from Canada but I have lived in many countries all over the world!  Do you want to know why? It’s because my family lives on a sailboat!  We eat, sleep, do school and everything on our boat because it’s our home.  However, our boat is different than normal homes because we can make it go anywhere we want!  We left Canada and bought our sailboat in the Caribbean which is where we started our journey two years ago.  From the Caribbean, we sailed down to South America, then to Central America, across the Panama Canal into the Pacific Ocean, and then crossed the South Pacific all the way to New Zealand!  Living on a boat gives us a huge advantage because we can visit the world while still in our home!

On board our boat, we are four.  My dad is the captain, my mom is the admiral, and my 16 year old brother Matthew and I are the first and second mates!  As I said before, I myself, am 14 years old and I enjoy writing, watching movies, hiking, diving and snorkelling!
