My Adventures in the Galapagos Islands

In Galápagos, we spent about a month and visited four islands: Isla San Cristóbal, Isla Isabela, Isla Santa Cruz, and Isla Bartholomé.

The Galápagos Islands, or the Galápagos Archipelago, is situated just under the equator several hundred miles off of Ecuador.  Those of you who are ecologists or studying evolution, you probably know that it was after visiting the Galápagos that Charles Darwin came up with his theory of evolution.  Galápagos really is like “being inside evolution”!  The islands are truly jaw dropping!  The landscapes are so unique and incredible.  The animals too are very different, especially in their behaviours.  Whether it's the giant tortoise, the swimming marine iguana, the sea lion, the blue or red footed booby, or whichever animal, they will be so unique from anything else you've ever or will ever see!
